A postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH), in the research project Making Differences in Berlin: Transforming Museums and Heritage in the 21st Century | Realizations and Reception in the Humboldt Forum. 

Born in Belarus in 1986, he holds a BA in Regional Studies from Moscow State University of International Relations / MGIMO-University (2009), a dual MA in Public History from Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences and Manchester University (2014), and a PhD in Media and Communication Studies from Freie Universität Berlin (2020).

He is a co-founder of Public History Laboratory, Moscow, and an editor at The Garage Journal: Studies in Art, Museums & Culture. His research is situated at the intersection of memory studies, public history, museum studies, and media studies. It focuses on memory in Eastern Europe, memory museums, and digital memories.
