Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - Institut für Europäische Ethnologie

I joined the Institute as an Alexander von Humboldt Professor in 2015 and hold a permanent W3 Professorship of Social Anthropology (with emphasis on Museums and Heritage). I am Director of the Hermann von Helmholtz Centre for Cultural Techniques and Co-Director and Co-Founder of inherit – heritage in transformation, a Centre for Advanced Study (Käte Hamburger Kolleg). I also founded the Centre for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH), which ran until the end of 2023. 

Ich bin im Oktober 2015 als Alexander von Humboldt Professorin dem Institut beigetreten und habe eine permanente W3-Professur für Sozialanthropologie (mit Schwerpunkt Museen und Kulturerbe). Ich bin Direktorin des Hermann von Helmholtz-Zentrums für Kulturtechnik, sowie Co-Direktorin des Käte Hamburger Kollegs inherit – heritage in transformation. Ich habe das Centre for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH), gegründet, und das bis Ende 2023 läuft.
