Lauren Cubellis, who is a graduate student in Anthropology at the Washington University in St. Louis, will join us and give a presentation on the implementation of a socially-oriented dialogically-based treatment model for schizophrenia and psychosis. She was part of a similar project in New York City for her master's degree in Public Health and is now doing research in Berlin. Lauren is particularly interested in dialogic processes, the intersection of social and biological risk factors, and the economic structures of healthcare that shape possibilities for sustaining alternative treatment interventions.
