Ich interessiere mich für die Entwicklung neuer Formen des ethnografischen Wissens und seit 2014 kuratiere ich Ausstellungen z.B.

  • Lagune – L'Intreccio, Klangstück in Kollaboration mit Mel Garland, in: ON WATER: Wasserwissen in Berlin, Humboldt Labor
  • If you take care of birds, you take care of most environmental problems in the world - Gastausstellung mit Gabriele Pinna (LIPU), in: Muddy Measures: When Wetlands and Heritage Converse, Tieranatomisches Theater, 12.06.2025 - 19.07.2025.
  • Makeshift Europe und Makermuseum im Rahmen einer langfristigen Zusammenarbeit mit dem Museum Europäischer Kulturen in Berlin. Die Zusammenarbeit umfasste Projekte von BA- und MA-Studierenden bezogen auf die temporären und Dauerausstellungen des MEKs.
  • Lernende Stadt: ein Selbstporträt in der Coexist Gallery, Hamilton House in Bristol mit Barton Hill Settlement, Countering Colston, Dhek Bhal, Easton Community Centre, Bristol Bike Project, Coexist Community Kitchen, Refugee Women of Bristol, St Mungo's, Workers' Educational Association und Wild Walks for Wellbeing sowie mit den Künstler*innen Eleanor Shipman, Joff Winterhart und Biggerhouse Film
  • Forging Folklore, Disrupting Archives in der Constance Howard Gallery in London, in der Textilsammlungen durch kritische künstlerische Interventionen aufgearbeitet wurden

Exhibition collaborations and curating

I am particularly interested in developing new modes of ethnographic writing and exhibition-making. Co-curated exhibitions and research projects include:

  • Lagoon – L'Intreccio. Sound piece in collaboration with Mel Garland. ON WATER: Water Knowledge in Berlin, Humboldt Labor
  • If you take care of birds, you take care of most environmental problems in the world, guest exhibition with Gabriele Pinna (LIPU) as part of Muddy Measures: When Wetlands and Heritage Converse, Tieranatomisches Theater, 12.06.2025 - 19.07.2025
  • Makeshift Europe and Makermuseum as part of long-term collaboration with the Museum of European Cultures in Berlin. These collaborations involved BA and MA student projects related to the temporary and permanent exhibitions at the MEK
  • Learning City: A Self-Portrait at Coexist Gallery, Hamilton House in Bristol that brought together contributions from Barton Hill Settlement, Countering Colston, Dhek Bhal, Easton Community Centre, Bristol Bike Project, Coexist Community Kitchen, Refugee Women of Bristol, St Mungo’s, Workers’ Educational Association and Wild Walks for Wellbeing as well as artists Eleanor Shipman, Joff Winterhart and Biggerhouse Film.
  • Revisiting Romania: Dress and Identity at the Horniman Museum in London that reimagined a 1950s museum collection through ethnographic research on its  Cold War and post-socialist history
  • Forging Folklore, Disrupting Archives at Constance Howard Gallery in London that worked to remediate textile collections through critical art interventions
